I know it's been awhile, but I still am among the living... however my dear little hamster, Reepicheep passed away today.
R.I.P.

1-1/2 cups water
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
3 black tea bags (I used two tablespoons of loose leaf black tea)
2/3 cup soy milk or low-fat milk of your choice (I used almond milk)
2 tsp. honey, divided (or to taste) (I used stevia which means I used less than an 1/8 of that amount.)
5 peppercorns ground (I added)
1 anise seed pod ground (added)
Directions:
In a small saucepan, mix together the water, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger and bring just to simmering.  Reduce heat to low and cover.  Simmer for 5 minutes.
Add milk and heat until steaming, but do not bring to a boil.  Remove from heat, add the black tea bags, and cover.
Steep for approximately 3 1/2 to 4 minutes.
Pour into mug and sweeten with honey, if desired.
Makes 2 servings. (TWO?! hahahaha no, just one.)
